Module 1 Thoughts...
So...hopefully everyone has had the opportunity to view The Greatest Good. Between the documentary and the info covered in Module 1, please comment on the most interesting fact/tidbit that you got out this module. What is something that surprised you or something new that you didn't know before. In developing this course, personally, I did not know that there were "pine tree riots" and that one of the early revolutionary flags had a pine tree on it to symbolize the discontent in the Broad Arrow Policy. I had learned some about Pinchot in our Wildlife Management class, but I did not know he was fired from his position as our first chief. I think it is admirable that he stuck by his principles and spoke his mind even if it meant he would lose the position.
