Module 1 Thoughts...
So...hopefully everyone has had the opportunity to view The Greatest Good. Between the documentary and the info covered in Module 1, please comment on the most interesting fact/tidbit that you got out this module. What is something that surprised you or something new that you didn't know before. In developing this course, personally, I did not know that there were "pine tree riots" and that one of the early revolutionary flags had a pine tree on it to symbolize the discontent in the Broad Arrow Policy. Learn something new everyday! -- Dr. H.

1st Module Tip
2-word answers don't provide me enough info to demonstrate that you fully "grasp" the material we're covering. Make sure you give me specific details in your answers. 3-5 full sentences is a fair minimum that I'm expecting. Thanks! Dr. H.

Welcome! and Introductions!
Instead of a lame discussion board, we're going with a blog for that "beyond the textbook" interaction. Remember...class participation (via this Blog) is 10% of your grade!
So...I have my mugshot and info about me here on the site...I wanna know about you folks! Please "comment" to this post with a photo (if you like---no pressure) and some info about yourself. Where are you from? Why are you taking this course? ...Oh yeah, and what's your favorite movie?
To make comments in the blog, you will probably have to have a gmail, yahoo, or hotmail account (I think). Let me know if you have any problems accessing or posting to the blog.
